Out of a 1-5 star rating. The ones in bold had more than a 3 star rating:
Paper Heart 2009 (w/ Charlene Yi, Michael Cera) – 3 stars. Very cute. I loved the artsy way of how they visualized people’s stories of falling in love the most.

Zigfield Girl 1941 (w/ James Stewart, Judy Garland) – 3 stars. The hairstyles are amazing in this.

The Naked Spur 1953 (w/ James Stewart, Janet Leigh) – 3 stars. boring at first but it was better down the line. I figured there were too many films of his I have to still see, this was one of them (he IS my all time favourite actor ever).

2009 animation. – 3 stars. beautiful art. The story had too many questions going through Rob’s and my head. I liked it though.

The Christmas Card 2006 (w/ Peter Jason, Edward Asner)- 3 stars. not too realistic but it was a sweet romantic story and clean. I love Christmas. Probably odd that I am still watching Christmas movies in January.

Valkyrie 2008 (w/ Tom Cruise, Tom Wilkinson) – 4 stars. Beautiful film filled with courageous men who were trying to stand up for justice for their country against Adolf Hitler. Oh and the women’s clothing and hair were ace in this too of course.

The Christmas Cottage 2008 (w/ Jared Padalecki, Peter O’Toole) – 3 stars. About Thomas Kinkade’s start in art. Two things I didn’t like is that they cut out saying “Jesus” it seems even from scripture to appease a T.V. audience or something. Thomas Kinkade is outspoken about Jesus so that was odd to me. It was okay. a bit boring at times.

Escape to Witch Mountain 1975 (w/ Kim Richards, Ike Eisenmann) – 3 stars.we used to watch this as a kids.Rob and I want to watch the new one they made, so we decided to start with the original. I still love the puppet show and the kids in this.

Gran Torino 2008 (w/ Clint Eastwood, Bee Vang) – 4 stars. Can I say incredible? yes yes. that’s this. I don’t like all the language in this, but it was intense and shows very much how important it is to care for others. Clint in the man. Wow.

The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey 2007 (w/ Tom Berrenger, Joely Richardson) – 3 stars. It was a nice film with a good lesson in it. I shed a single tear. it’s true.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2009 (w/ Kevin James) – 3 stars. This is how I like films. clean. I don’t recall any bad language or anything nasty in this. a fun film for all. I love NJ references and seeing two of the malls I’ve been to regularly show up in this. haha. cute.

Slumdog Millionaire 2008 (w/ Dave Patel, Freida Pinto) – 4.25 stars. Amazing film filled with so much realistic looks of what life in the slums of India is like. India is where my heart yearns a lot for the victims of human trafficking. We actually get to see a lot of that life in this film as well. The story of love is shown so deeply in this too. I loved this movie. It deserved getting Best Picture so much!

The Wrestler 2008 (w/ Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei) – 1 star. huge disappointment to me when the majority of a film’s content are things that take away from the story. I had to skip about 7 scenes from this. waste of time. Mickey Rourke’s acting was wonderful though. I don’t know why Marisa Tomei even was nominated for any awards though, granted I skipped most of her scenes so that would figure.

Zathura 2005 (w/ Jonathan Bobo, Josh Hutcherson) – 3 stars. yes it is like Jumanji because it was written by the same guy to be that way. I liked it. It was cute.

Howard the Duck 1986 (w/ Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones) – I hadn’t seen this since I was a child. I needed to refresh my memory. Man what a corny and lame movie this was. I can’t believe I used to even have a shirt with him on it that I wore at age 6. ugh. haha.
