This is from Autumn of 2005. The outfit I believe was all from Delias. I gave the shirt to one of my best friends. I sold the overall dress. The boots I still wear.
I had bought the outfit for one purpose alone.
I used to stare at this photo of my mom (from 1971 on her honeymoon) and would tell her how she should have kept the outfit for me. Thing is I wouldn’t wear it today and am glad I found it in skirt-form instead. I don’t know how she was able to wear such short shorts!
This scripture continues to speak to me and I just felt like sharing it to you, friends.
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. What a man desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.” -Proverbs 19:20-22
