  1. I like that you update a lot!! I can't seem to find the time and dedication to do it. Your tree is turning orange already? That's so early! Fall is my favorite season. It's so pretty!Mere Christianity! My second favorite book! Of course the bible being the first.Swimmers: Actually, I don't know if most swimmers are tall. I guess I just seem to notice the tall ones, especially after Phelps. His body is like fish!! Swimming is my second favorite sport, (volleyball being the first), but I was never really considered sporty even now.Wow, it's nice to hear that you constantly get rid of stuff to prevent materialism. That sure is an example to look up to. I only get possessive over clothes but other than that, I don't get possessive with anything material. I do think that the sacrifice comes when you give up something you really love, so that should mean clothes for me. Congrats on the Hypeed feature! This one is going to be my first feat on Hypeed.

  2. I can't get enough of your hair. How do you style it like that? You must do a tutorial in your blog! :)Okay, well… you have seen a lot more anime than I have, but my favorites are: Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Gankutsuou, One Piece (<33), Escaflowne, Haruhi Suzumiya, and every Miyazaki movie I've ever seen. πŸ˜€

  3. I don't know much about the style you like best (still stuck in 70s hippie stuff myself, though I LOVE how you dress!) but I was wondering if wearing those strappy shoes with socks was the style back then, or if you do it for comfort. I know I've worn strappy shoes before, just for an hour or so, that cut into my feet and I hate it! But I don't know enough about your style to know if that's what they did back then, or if it's just being practical. Either way, I love how it looks but my curiosity just got the best of me!

  4. I like the flower in your hair. I used to be a big fan of bows (still am a little) but I now think that flowers are a bit more romantic and grown up! I have one sitting in my drawer waiting to try it out :PAnyway Oh gosh your GWTW story about the pram from the actual set was amazing. Good one with the 'never go hungry again!' shoot idea! I would have to muster up every ounce of my acting skills to make that devasted /determined face of Scarlett's. But I definitely want to try it in the future-if I find the right dress. πŸ™‚ I wish we weren't oceans away so we could talk about the movie and dissect the characters at length over some hot cocoa. Nobody here seems to love that movie like I do! Haha :)Bea from A plus B

  5. Allison, I believe that some did indeed wear socks with these types of shoes in the 70s (think of shows like Partridge Family for instance), but probably not as often as without. I think it is the 40s lover in me to include some bobbysox πŸ˜‰ I stated recently that I was going to be combining different decades into one if I have to. . since I like too much variety.

  6. I know I ask you this SO often, but I think I've seriously lost my address book! I have a letter ready for you, will you please email me your address at allisonrenner (at) gmail (dot) com?

  7. Thank you so much for your nice comment! you always look fantastic! I wish I could have long hair like you, but my hair is too fine.Ruby,www.rubys-attic.blogspot.com

  8. That's such a beautiful outfit- i love the colours on the skirt (so summer-y!) Thanks for your compliment on my blog- i normally feel like such a disheveled mess (i think the London humidity is getting to me a bit!) x

  9. Beautiful!!! I love the colors.I wish I could wear skirts that went to or below my knees… but I'm so short that they make my legs looks ridiculously short.

  10. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I love your blog…glad I found it! I will def be a follower. And I love this flower in your hair. Gorgeous.
