We had a pretty busy week, but this morning I had the opportunity to give a presentation speech about modesty and pornography at my church to ladies of various ages (pre-teens, teens, older adult women). It went really well and I made people laugh and cry (didn’t think either would happen). Apparently my “big line of the morning” was giving a quote my mom has used with me for a long time saying that “men are like microwaves and women are slow cookers” (in explaining how men and women both have sexual desires that should be satisfied within marriage).

I thought it was nice that on Tuesday, one of the shops I bought a dress from posted my picture and wrote a really sweet thing about me and two other bloggers.

  2. I like your modest outfit features! It gives me so many ideas. I just had a conversation at work the other day about dressing modestly. I think I get more attention because I dress well and modest then women I know who do the opposite.

  6. Ashley is one of my favorite bloggers, happy to see her up there! :)I would love to hear what your talk was all about, it sounds really fascinating. I feel like the reason a lot of young people turn away from religion is because they feel like the can't have honest talks about sexuality.
