It was great to get a chance to hang-out this weekend with one of my dearest best friends ever, Lynsie.
She lives on the opposite end of NJ (literally. . I’m at the top part of NJ and she’s at the bottom tip of NJ – a 3 hour drive). We had fun together as always.
In case you’re wondering, I met Lynsie through the good old internet years ago (I believe I was 19 or 20. . I’m 27 now) but it took a couple of years before we started to get to know each other more personally. Eventually we started to write each other snail-mail letters and e-mails, did an online daily Bible Study together for a couple years, and started to hang out a few times a year. Now we run Ruby-Eyed Okapi together promoting modesty and purity. She’s been an amazing friend to me, giving me advice, asking for advice, and we always are able to grow together and learn together. She is one of those people that I respect her honest opinion in telling me when I’m wrong and I review it and try to understand her reasoning. I do the same for her as well. We are able to show love to one another and be spiritual sisters through our love for God. I am really blessed that I have her in my life.
She was going to eat my butterfly.
We didn’t plan on growing our hair long together. . I have 9 more inches before my hair is back to the length it used to be at and she never had her hair this long before and is curious to see how long it can get. It was funny because my hair grows really quickly and was noticeably shorter than her hair just a few months ago. Lynsie wanted to take a couple shots of the back of our heads to see who had longer hair. I should have bent down a bit to help. 😛
I think I ruined this shot of Lynsie, because she looks amazing in it, but it’s sweet.
In case you’re wondering. .
My outfit is from Delias,
shoes from Modcloth,
accessories (hairclips and necklace) from Lila-Jo,
and socks from Target.
Lynsie changed her clothes about 4 times before we took these shots. haha. She was originally in this and went back in it. She had some really cute dresses she had on, but I’ll photograph her in one of those next time (and it was really chilly out).
