A few of you asked how my Mother’s Day went (through twitter). It was very lovely. My husband woke me up (I was so tired from being up far too late the night before) by having the boys say “Happy Mother’s Day” one at a time to me while I was still in bed (younger one did it first which was surprising since usually he does what his big brother does). I honestly don’t mind not receiving anything (cards are nice) for Mother’s Day, but my sons each “bought” me a manga (Japanese comic book) and Rob bought me the Twilight graphic novel and a book I’ve been wanting to read for months. In case you didn’t realize it, I really love to read. Rob cooked me breakfast and made me chocolate milk. I then sang with the youth kids for church (went very well). We spent a few hours with my Mother-in-Law and Rob’s family which was very nice (don’t worry, I saw my mom at church. She is amazing. Check out this entry
I did last year about her. I’m SUPER close to her).
I don’t know if you remember my Easter Outfit a couple outfit entries ago, but the woman I bought the vintage gloves from posted this on her blog
, which was so sweet!!
Blouse and Wedge Shoes: Modcloth
Wrap Skirt: gift from my amazing best friend Emilee (wearing it for about 5 or 6 years)
Flower Hairclip: Lila-Jo
I felt badly that I posted so many more old photos of Leto in my Motherhood entry than of my younger son Micah, so here’s a new one of Micah. I think he looks so much like my darling husband Rob here but with my color eyes.
I was hanging with one of my best friends Brienne (I’ve posted photos of her a few times in the past year. She also has two sons). The second one was taken by accident while we were laughing and I’m glad it was taken. It’s so sweet.
The dress I’m wearing is available to buy here
in different sizes, and yes that is me modeling it for this shop
