Some of you may remember that I won a contest through Fleet Collection back in October. I received this dress from them (I love winning free things)! I like the dress a lot, although the high waistline is a little odd for me, simply because I am tall, and feel as if my small waist is in hiding (so I feel “larger” in the dress, though I am not, I know). I love the colors. It is really comfortable too. Thanks Fleet!
I felt this dress needed a beehive to go with it. In case you’re wondering how I did it, I just fooled around really. For about 5 months I’ve been saving my hairs that I take out of my brush and been putting them in a hairnet. I twisted the bottom half of my hair up, put it on top of my head (pinned about two bobby pins in), then put the net in there too (pinned it in). I teased the front half of my hair and smoothed it over the net. Then I twirled the bottom portion of that piece of hair and pinned it in (though in the pictures you might see a little portion was out of place, but you get the idea).
The ukulele. . I do know how to play about three songs on it & hope to learn more. The ukulele we own is not that great though. Eventually we’ll get a better one. It is still nice to practice on. Yesterday I started practicing how to play “Bizarre Love Triangle” by New Order (yet in the style of Frente’s version of it). I was going to do a video of it until I saw this amazing version & thought mine was really awful in comparison.
