He is ready to get those training wheels off (though he may not admit to it because he is a bit timid about certain “adventurous” things). One of the training wheels got so loose from him riding on the trails with friends that he didn’t even notice he was probably not really even using them too much.
2. A friend of mine was over last week for dinner and talked about how she was wanting to rollerblade.  I have been longing to do so for years (every summer I tell Rob I want to go rollerblading). When I was a pre-teen, I roller skated constantly.  I got my first pair of roller blades in 1994 and even had a “roller skating party” for my 11th birthday. Although I hadn’t been on skates since I was 18, I gave them a whirl.  It was hard to get used to them again, but I went off on a trail with a 9 and 8 year old (not my kids) and kept up with them as they were speeding on their bikes (we were hanging out with people from church).  I was on them for two hours and it felt great!  Rob made me wear a helmet since I was out of practice and he knows I am a bit daring sometimes.
3. Micah loves riding his bike. This is his second year riding and he has been doing so well!  He even speeds up from time to time.  I think next year he’ll ask us to take off his training wheels.  He is daring like his mama!
4. We are a cuddling family and the boys always crawl all over us all the time.  I thought this was a good photo to share since Sunday was Father’s Day.  Rob is really a very good papa!  Our sons get sad when he is not home (and it gives me a nice break since they are his shadows).
EXTRA Photo of the boys with one of their church friends.  Micah wants to marry her (yes, she is nearly 5 years older than him).
