The boys had so much fun in the snow.  It was still too soft for them to build a snowman though.  The following day was sunny and beautiful.

Are you going through a personal blizzard in your life?  Sometimes I get so upset or hurt that I feel as if everything is going against me.  I keep reading this passage to know that there is a calm and that I should not fear but trust that God will guide my way and help me when I go through struggles.

” ‘They set out,  and as they sailed he (Jesus) fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. And they went and woke him, saying, ‘Master, Master, we are perishing!’ And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.  He said to them, ‘Where is your faith?’ – Luke 8:23-25asnowdayblizzard2016_17thumb
