My darling friend Rachel is about to have her third child.  It will be her first boy.  She told me her daughters call him a little fox.  I couldn’t make it to her baby shower which was two hours away, so I made sure to make her present in time for the arrival of her son which her mom brought to her on one of her visits to PA.  I didn’t use a pattern for this one and pretty much just assumed that 4 2.5″ small squares and a 5″ larger square alternating in colors and fabrics would work out.  I had planned this to be different originally but am thankful for the result.  I also almost made it a whole row smaller and am glad that I had the fabric to add a row which made it a lovely crib size!

Rachel said it was “so perfect and special” and “my little boy will have it forever!” My work was accomplished! This quilt took me maybe 3-4 days to do.
