My mom’s close friend has been admiring my quilting and often asks about sizing and pricing.  When I recently sold a quilt that I had made last year, she had said how she liked the colors a lot and asked if I’d be making a quilt like it.  I told her I’d make a throw quilt using the colors (though this could probably fit a twin sized bed actually).

I started to think about making one side light and the other side dark.  I could have made it fade in a bit, but I like how this looks.  I did not use a pattern for this and just played around using mainly left over fabric, though I did buy quite a lot too (I have so much green though that I didn’t have to buy any of that color).  As soon as I finished the quilt, it was bought.  I was really thankful for an easy sale.  The quilt took me about a week and a half to work on.  zigzag3thumbzigzag2thumbzigzag4thumbzigzag5thumbzigzag6thumbzigzag7thumbzigzag8thumbzigzag9thumbzigzag10thumbzigzag11thumbzigzag12thumb
