I tend to be a bit goal oriented and am disappointed when my goals are not reached.  I don’t mind sometimes realizing that my goals change over time, but once my mind is truly set on something, I work very hard for it.  Rob usually always encourages me on my goals too, which I am grateful for.

I told Rob earlier in the year that we were going to go south of NJ as a family.  By the time June came, We had the money to rent an Airbnb in Shenandoah, VA.  I was really excited and Rob was so impressed that we were able to accomplish my goal.  The boys loved it and each had their own bedroom (they share one in our own home).
We do discuss in detail about our time there on a podcast episode over at Simply Us.

I want to show some photos of our time at the river house.  It was so nice to relax and spend time together as a family on our vacation.  It was really peaceful and dreamy.  Also, the owner of the house (Sally) was extremely kind and responsive to any queries I had.  Our sons hope to go back in the not-too-far-away future.

I am glad we’ll be able to look back on our vacation in the future as a special time together.
If you’d like to stay there, go for it.  Here’s a link!
