After having a red living room for quite some time, it just started to feel too dark.  We talked about painting the living room white for the past two years and I thought making curtains that were red would suit our living room since we were used to red walls for so long.

We have been drawn to Scandanavian styled homes for a long time and got inspiration from them.

The only problem we have is that we wish we didn’t have to have indoor bicycle storage, but unfortunately, we are apartment dwellers who have nowhere to keep them outside.  I do love looking at my Liv bike (and don’t mind taking it up and down the stairs to ride it and put it away).  My exercise bike (which I use a lot) is folded in that closet as well as my left over fabric that I make sure to use reguarly, our shoes, and our vacuum. It is tidy, of course.

This room is so much more comfortable now!  We really enjoy the brightness and the comfort of it feeling like home, even if we have been living here for ten years now!

As you can see, we no longer have the school desks in our living room (and Leto is doing his Math work on the computer here).
